Howdy!

Bailey Lawlor is an Illustrator and Writer from Knoxville, TN. Growing up in the Appalachian regions instilled in them a love for the outdoors, folklore and storytelling. These themes have had a significant influence and find themselves woven into nearly every aspect of their practice.

They specialize in Illustrating/Writing Comics, Character Designing as well as building fantastical, escapist worlds. Narrative and storytelling are a core foundation of their work, emboldened to spin fantastical and cathartic tales for their audience.

 

They spent a notable three years studying at the Watkins College of Art, Design and Film in Nashville, TN, engrossed within a diverse and familial community of different artists. They eventually graduated from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon in 2022, where they refined their knowledge and skills of comics and sequential storytelling.
